When Will China Airlines Resume Flights – (21 June 2022, 11:19 +07) China Airlines has confirmed that it will operate its daily Taipei (Songshan) – Tokyo (Haneda) route with Airbus A321neo aircraft from 1 July 2022.
Passenger services will also be scheduled on the Tokyo (Narita), Osaka, Nagoya and Fukuoka routes, and the frequency of service to Seoul in South Korea will increase to daily flights from August.

Overall, the number of passenger flights will increase by 40% in the third quarter with more than 150 passenger services each week, keeping pace with the recovery in travel demand.
China Airlines’ First A321neo Enters Service
For Southeast Asian routes, a weekly Kaohsiung-Manila service was introduced in June to serve travelers from southern Taiwan.
In August, the following changes will be made to Southeast Asia routes departing from Taoyuan: services to Bangkok (Thailand) will be increased to 14 flights per week; services to Manila (Philippines), Ho Chi Minh (Saigon) and Hanoi (Vietnam) will be increased to 10 flights per week; services to Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) will be increased to four flights per week; services to Penang (Malaysia) will be increased to two flights per week; services to Singapore and Phnom Penh (Cambodia) will be increased to three times a week; and services to Yangon (Myanmar) will be increased to two flights per week.
China Airlines’ Hong Kong route will also be increased to seven services per week with daily flights from July and will increase again in August to 10 flights per week.
Cross-strait routes such as Beijing, Chengdu, Shanghai (Pudong) and Xiamen remain in service. From August, services to Beijing and Chengdu will be increased to two flights per week, while the Taoyuan-Shanghai (Pudong) route will be increased to nine flights per week.
Taiwan’s Largest Carrier, China Airlines Considers A Name Change
China Airlines’ North American long-haul routes to Los Angeles, Ontario, San Francisco and New York (USA) as well as Vancouver (Canada) are fully established.
Services to Ontario will be increased to two flights per week in August. Flights to Los Angeles will be increased to five per week; the Taiwan area route and greater Los Angeles (California) will now include daily flights. San Francisco service will increase to five flights per week while Vancouver will increase to three times per week.
On European routes, services to Frankfurt (Germany) will be increased to four weekly flights; services to Amsterdam (Netherlands) will be increased to three flights per week; and services to London (UK) will be increased to two flights per week.
The Oceanic portfolio is made up of Australia and New Zealand. For Australian routes, Sydney and Melbourne will increase to two flights per week, while Brisbane will have one passenger flight each week. Direct flights to Auckland (New Zealand) will be increased to one flight every two weeks.
