Another science lesson we did that had something to do with the earth was a cooking lesson. We made different colored layer cakes to represent the layers of the earth. The students placed the names of the layers in the cupcake rings labeled.

Another applied science lesson was about sedimentary rocks. We made sedimentary rocks with crushed nilla wafers, banana pudding and whipped cream. We talked about how layers are made and what they are made of or sedimentary rocks.

Another applied math lesson was an algebra lesson. Went during the week of Dr. Seuss, we decided to create an algebra worksheet with characters from the Dr. Seuss book. Seuss. We used ASOL math for students to create math equations.
