Although people were eventually able to connect, many were disappointed by some of the shortcomings of the streaming service.
First, there was no way to pick up a show from where you left off. If you left a series, you’d have to watch it again from the beginning or manually find where the series you stopped watching was.

Unfortunately, they still haven’t added the ‘Continue Watching’ feature to the home page, so you still have to search for shows you’ve been watching, but we can expect that to happen soon with so many updates. .

. But now you’re tired of the service or just don’t want to pay for it anymore and need to cancel it. Here’s how to do it.

A Disney+ subscription alone is currently on sale for $6.99 per month or $69.99 for a full year. You can try a free 7-day trial before purchasing. If you cancel during the trial period, you will not be charged for the subscription. If you cancel after the end of the trial, your subscription will last until the next billing cycle, which means the end of the month if you chose the monthly package, and the end of the year if you chose the annual option. In either case, we’ll still charge you the initial $6.99 for the current month or $69.99 for the entire year.
Alternatively, the $12.99 per month Disney package offers access to Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN. You can start with this monthly option or switch to it once you’ve already signed up for Disney+ only. The same cancellation policy applies. If you cancel, your subscription will continue until the end of the current month and you will be charged the full $12.99.
You can cancel your Disney+ subscription or Disney plan on the Disney+ website. Browse the Disney+ website (opens in a new window) and sign in to your account. Click the icon for your profile and select the Account option.
On the Bill page, click the Billing Details link. If you go through the app, you will be automatically redirected to the website. You must then enter your account credentials to make any changes.

On the Billing Details screen, select the Cancel Subscription link. The next page asks if you want to cancel your subscription. To continue, click the Complete Cancel button and you will see a confirmation screen.
Disney will also ask you to complete a short survey asking why you decided to cancel your subscription. Check one or more reasons why you canceled your subscription, such as price, incompatible devices, technical issues, or something else. Some answers trigger additional verification options.
If you select Other, you will be prompted to enter a specific reason for canceling Disney+. When you’re done, click the Submit button.
You will also receive an email confirming the cancellation. If you change your mind, click the Restart Subscription button in the email to resume your subscription.
