Your academic resume is an information sheet that you can use when applying to college, writing scholarship essays, and building your work resume. Keep this in mind when updating your educational resume: How can the information on my resume help my college application?
How To Make A Resume On Naviance
Materials Completed Sample Commendation Sheet (1 per student) High School and Community Activity Log (1 per student) Goal/Purpose “I Do” Students will review the sample completed commendation sheet and discuss the importance of extracurricular activities. “I do/We do” hook The teacher will ask students which extracurricular activities have had the greatest impact on them. Brainstorming/planning “We do” The teacher will introduce a record of community activities. Model The teacher will model examples of what can be recorded on the form. Graphic Organizer Community Activity Record and Praise Sheet Independent Writing “You Do” Teacher will have students complete the Community Activity Record (allow minutes). Students will separate into groups of 3-5 people to discuss their activities. Students will add any missing activities to their charts. Students will use their completed worksheets to complete their praise sheets, focusing on their most important accomplishments. Reflection Students will share their completed praise sheets with partners and provide feedback.
